You've never heard about hobbyist fish sales dedicated to aquarium fish? You ignore what's this can may be? Then follow me, and let you be surprised by this hobbyist fish sale which held near Grenoble city (France…). I found a warm ambiance and passionate aquarists that came for sell fruits of their small reproductions. So, I had envy to share here, with you; a short video of the event!

A hobbyist fish sale… Translation please!

French aquarists often gather in associations. There are of course the national associations such as for example the AFC (Association France Cichlid) or even the AFV (Viviparous France Association) to mention only these two.

Side discus, regular readers of the site will remember the’Association Discus Passion, soda (Organizer of the France Discus Show), or the EDA (Who organises the Paris - Grigny Discus Show).

At the regional level, There are also a number of associations. Each offers various activities or meetings; and it is not uncommon that they organize their annual hobbyist fish sale. This event generally represents an essential inflow of funds. It also allows for those who wish to sell or exchange their own reproductions.

So, for a day (Who will have requested hours of preparations…), aquarists proposing their fishes are regrouped in a room prepared to welcome the animals as best possible.

After few hours; the doors can be opened to the public! Visitors often discover species or less common varieties they could find in stores. But also, chat with a large number of enthusiasts!

 

A group of initiated persons?

Must confess there is most of the time passionate persons of long-time! Under sometimes professional aspects, This type of event can be confusing for a beginner.

Indeed, even if we could be overwhelmed by a "frantic" feeling; It should be better to be informed before making its acquisitions. Do not give in to buying impulse! Because it can happen that face of the flow of people, the seller cannot always take 15 minutes to explain the how and why…

So, an advise; When you go to a hobbyist fish sale, the ideal is to have an idea of what you are looking for. Sometimes, organizers communicate beforehand a list of species that will be presented the "D Day" by all of the exhibitors.

 

Appointment near Grenoble in Eybens city!

I do not always have the chance to move on a hobbyist fish sale… But this year; I had the opportunity to attend in Eybens near Grenoble city.

Indeed, Nicolas Carmona, an enthusiast who maintains discus m & rsquo; has very sympathetically invited to visit them! For this event attracts a growing number & rsquo; aquarists…
